We all love our friends and family, and we want to spend time with them, but the current situation with the coronavirus has made that difficult. One of the most effective ways of limiting the spread of the virus is to practice social distancing – keeping at least 6 feet away from others and avoiding social gatherings.
Depending on your personality, this could be slightly difficult or the worst time in your life. Whether you are an extrovert or not, it is saving lives.
While some might feel like they are healthy and not at risk for adverse effects if they get infected, social distancing is protecting the lives of your older friends and relatives, as well as those who have underlying health problems that could prove fatal.
While it appears that there is a downturn in the curve of new cases, it is still important to continue to practice social distancing to some degree for quite a while to make sure that the virus doesn’t have a resurgence.
