Upgrading Your Hose

Whenever you are dealing with any appliance there are always some weak points that you should pay extra attention to, especially if a failure could mean disaster for your home. The hose that you receive together with your washer is usually fairly cheap quality. Since the hose has water under pressure inside it, this can easily be a big problem if it breaks.

So what should you do to prevent a leak from happening? The solution is fairly simple, just replace the hose. You can find high-quality hoses that are steel braided, which allows them to handle much higher pressure. This will give you some peace of mind, at least when it comes to catastrophic flooding.
